Mr. Harris was born December 3, 1926 in Trion, GA to the late Authur & Lucenda Powell was retired from Mount Vernon Mills, was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed to hunt and fish.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Harris, William Harris, and Roy Harris; sisters, Nancy Kennmer and Mattleaner Stalling; and nephew George Stalling.
