Henry W. Van Wart, age 90, a longtime Milford resident, beloved husband of the late Connie Sibilia Van Wart, died Saturday May 8, 2010 at his home.
Born on January 29, 1920 in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Irving and Floreta Blanchard Van Wart. Henry was a graduate of Roger Ludlowe H.S. Class of ’38. He served with pride and honor in the US Army during WWII. Henry painted International Harvester trucks before his retirement. He had an artistic flair for painting, woodworking and miniatures.
Henry is survived by his brother Irving P. Van Wart of Shelton and many nieces and nephews. He was recently predeceased by his devoted daughter Angelina Van Wart.
