Henry Martin Emineth, 91, of Tallahassee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at his home, while surrounded by his loving family. The third of nine children, he was born in Emmons County, North Dakota, on April 18, 1929, to the late John V. and Angeline Marie Gerhardt Emineth. Four of his siblings, Anna Marie, Stephen, Edward and William, lost their lives in a house fire on February 6, 1945.
He is also preceded in death by two other sisters, Elizabeth Emineth and Mary Magdalen Vogel-Brausch. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a Furniture Shop Supervisor and was a parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife of 66 years, Eyla Bell Schmidt Emineth, he is survived by children, Carol Ann Harwood, James Emineth, Stephen Emineth (Nancy) and Ronald Emineth; grandchildren, Marsha Tercyak (Mike), Tina Vickers (Jackie), Robert Harwood and Jaboe Stewart; great-grandchildren, Mason Tercyak, Hunter Vickers, Alayna Vickers and Miles Vickers; brothers, Alvin Emineth and Donald Emineth (Karen); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
