Harold T. Kinsey, 98, a longtime resident of Jefferson County, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Centre Pointe Health and Rehab. A son of Thomas Joseph Kinsey and Oleta “Ollie” Martha Ward Kinsey, of blessed memory, he was born in Monticello, Florida on January 7, 1923.
He is also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Ann McKee Kinsey; daughters, Kathryn Britt and Peggy Walsh; grandson, Doug Britt; as well as several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his son, Ronald Kinsey (wife, Glenda); grandchildren, Brad Walsh, Ashli Denton, Amanda Cobb, Greg Kinsey, Laurie Whetstone and Gina Jones; fifteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Naomi Walker (husband, Carswell); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He faithfully served his country in the United State Navy during World War II, and later worked in Miami as a carpenter and field engineer. In his spare time, he enjoyed dancing, traveling, reading and fishing.
