Harold J. Spinaci, age 83, passed away on May 26, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Vera (Pasquini) for 59 years, father of Harold Jr., Cheryl and Valerie. He was the oldest son of Charles and Christina Spinaci, who settled in New Haven from Italy. Brother of Yolanda Vitelli of West Haven and Charles (Carol Sue) Spinaci of North Haven, he was pre-deceased by his sister Mary Dolores Hartigan, and leaves four nephews and three nieces.
Born and raised in the ‘Hill’ section of New Haven, he graduated from Hillhouse High School (1944), served in the U.S. Army, and later received an honorable discharge.
