Hansel Hal Gill, 72, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, while surrounded by his loving family. Born in Tampa, Florida on November 1, 1949, he was the only child of Hansel Gill and Lura Goss Gill, of blessed memory.
He was a long time dump truck driver with Jimmy Crowder Excavating, loved dirt track racing, fishing, was a die hard Gators football fan; but most importantly, he was dedicated family man. He was also a member of Aenon Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Suzanne Langford Gill; sons, Jeff Gill (wife, Hilary) and Jon Gill (wife, Melinda); grandsons, Hunter Gill (wife, Kara) and Blake Gill (fiancé, Tara); granddaughter, Halee Scruggs (husband, Dawson); great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Gill; and great-grandsons, Jace Gill and Kolby Gill.
