Mr. George “Oeze” Oze, age 82, beloved husband of 48 years to Ines Pinto Oeze of Milford,  passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 in his home. Son of the late George and Anna Oze, he was born on January 24, 1928 in Nagymaros, Hungary.

Before emigrating to America with the help of clergy, George played semi professional soccer and also served in the Hungarian Armed Forces. He was an accomplished builder and mechanic and had built his childhood home in Hungary, which still stands today.  In America, he became a member of the Ironworkers Union and was employed by the former Levine Brothers Ironworks of Yonkers. George discovered a passion for photography and gardening. He had an amazing and full life, was proficient in speaking five languages and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he leaves three devoted children, Anna Oze of Milford, George Oeze and his wife Amy of Guilford and Tanya Dana and her husband Scott of Milford, four cherished grandchildren, Cameron and Kyle Oeze and Sophia and Luke Dana and a nephew John Paul of Hungary.
