Mr. George Earl Russell Jr., 78, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Betty Lou Smith Russell, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Bridgeport Health Care. Born on January 21, 1932 in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late George E. and Dorothy Herman Russell. He was a truck driver for Gilbert and Bennett for many years.
George is survived by his five children; Richard Russell and his wife Wendy of Milford, Stephen Russell and his wife Erika of OH, Theresa Smith and her husband Ed of Bridgeport, George Russell III of Morris and Theodore Russell and his wife Dawn of Bridgeport. Six grandchildren; Elizabeth, Steven, Tyler, David, Michael and James. A great grandson, Jorge. Five step grandchildren; Mary, Mike, Jennifer, Nicholas and Andrew. Four step great grandchildren; Mackenzie, Cyrus, Gavin and Orion. Three sisters; Edith, Shirley and Ruth. Brother, Robert Russell and many nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his daughter Margaret and sister Eva.
