Frederick “Joe” J. Beloin, age 97, of Waterbury and formerly of Milford, beloved and devoted husband to the late Cecile Chasse Beloin, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012. Born on June 20, 1914 in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marie Francoeur Beloin. Frederick served with pride and honor in the US Navy during WWII. For many years, he was a commercial shell fisherman with Tallmadge Brothers Oyster Co. He was a quiet, religious man, who was devoted to the rosary. Quick witted, he always had a kind word to say. Frederick was known for his wonderful listening quality and was an extremely patient and compassionate man. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working in his garden. A loving father, grandfather and friend, he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by three sons, Robert F. Beloin and his wife Michele of Milford, Gary J. Beloin and his wife Sharen of Waterbury, David R. Beloin and his former wife Kathi of Ansonia, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and his longtime friend, Bill W.
