He is survived by: two daughters, Veronica Diane Murchison and Gloria Annette Smith (Chris) and two sons, Freddie “Buster” Murchison (Patsy) and Ernest L. Murchison (Jannie); sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; one sister, Mary J. Battle (Albert) and one brother, Charles L. Murchison, all of Sanford, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
