Mr. Francisco Montanez, age 97, of Camp Hill, PA, formerly of Milford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Golden Living Center West Shore, PA., beloved husband of the late Rosita Mojica Montanez.
Francisco was born on May 5, 1913 in San Juan, Puerto Rico; he was the son of the late Raymond and Mercedes Duchesne Montanez. Francisco was a proud member of the Milford Police Auxiliary ranking as a Sergeant.
Survivors include his three sons Rolando Montanez and his wife Eva Maria of Etters, Pa; Ruben and Richard Montanez both of Florida, a daughter-in-law Dorothy Montanez of Florida, a very special cousin Frankie Ballesteros and his wife Vivian of Bronx,NY; seven grandchildren Justin Montanez, Justina Latimer, Amy Fries and her husband Chris , Damon and Ricky Montanez and Dominic Montanez, five great-grandchildren Hope and Nicholas Montanez, Leilani and Alexander Fries and Luke Latimer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Frank Montanez, a sister Carmine and a brother Moncho.
