Mr. Francis I. Gomes, age 64 of Andalusia, a native of Evergreen, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 in Opp after a brief illness.

Also survived by his beloved 19 bird dogs and a special canine baby, Puffer.
Mr. Gomes retired a SMSGT in the Army after 22 years of service. He then served another 15 years as an Army Recruiter. He loved to fish and hunt, especially quail. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a huge fan of Alabama football!
