Felipe Gabriel Cortizas passed away on Sunday March 8, 2009 at home surrounded by family, after a long battle with Scleroderma Disease for many years. Born on October 16, 1961 in Miami, Florida he graduated from De La Salle High School and the University of New Orleans.
Beloved son of Jose Gabriel and Nancy Martinez Cortizas. Brother of Richard Felipe and Brother- in- law of Erica Cortizas (Lee) and Uncle of Gabriella Ana. He was preceded in death by his grandparents the late Felipe Martinez and Agueda Fuentes and Ricardo Cortizas and Maria Himely. Also survived by a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.
