Surrounded by his loving family, Eldridge W. Edwards, Jr., entered into the Gates of Heaven and met his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. Born on November 12, 1941, in Gadsden County, Florida, he was the son of the late Eldridge W. Edwards, Sr. and the late Donnie Mae Finiff Edwards. He faithfully served his country in the United States Navy, and later was employed and retired from the State of Florida as an accountant. Along with his wife, Patricia, he was a member of Freedom Church, First Assembly of God, where they were active in the Bread Basket. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. Surviving him include his wife of 49 years, Pat Edwards; children, Eldridge W. Edwards, III, (wife, Sonya ), William John Edwards, (wife, Denise), and Diane Lambert (husband, Brian); grandchildren; Dylan Lambert, Noah Lambert, Wyatt Edwards, Megan Edwards, Liam Edwards and Brooke Edwards; sisters, Almeta Leverett (husband, Henry) and Mildred Webb, (husband, Danny).
