Harry was born August 8, 1928 in Terryville, son of the late John and Ramolda (Tomcheski) Piotrowski. Raised in Terryville he attended local schools and was a graduate of Terryville High School, class of 1946. Upon graduation, Harry enlisted in the US Army and served honorably for two years. He received an associate’s degree in accounting under the GI Bill and went on to work in accounting for the Eagle Lock Company where he met his future wife of 64 years, Clara. He retired in 1990 from Kaman Aircraft in Bloomfield. Harry and Clara wintered in Florida for 23 years and made many new friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Andrew J. Piotrowski and his wife Susan of Hickory, NC; his daughters, Lynn A.
