Newby, Joy Newby Cartera, and Steve Newby (Venesa) of Sanford, NC: 12 nieces and nephews Robert, Jr., Angela, Stephanie, Charisse, Deidre, Kirk, Denise, Tarja, Stephen, Vanesa, Omar, and Jaala, an aunt Effie Mae Simmons, and a host of relatives and friends.
