Drew James “Jim” Williamson, Jr., 88, of Tallahassee, passed away February 20, 2017, in Tallahassee. Entering this world on December 12, 1928, in Tampa, Florida, he was the son of the late Drew James Williamson, Sr. and the late Minnie Mae Hesters Williamson. With pride and honor, he faithfully and honorably served his country between 1946 and 1957 in both the United States Air Force and the United States Army, having served for 30 months in Germany. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Lou Williamson; children, Brenda (David) Selfe, Debbie (Garry) Beermann and Marlene (Jim) Meyer; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Williamson; sister, Marsha Davenport; nieces and nephews, Patrick Davenport, Steve Owens, Valerie Folsom and Donna Crawford; as well as other extended family.
