Mr. Doyle Lee Farmer, age 82, of Menlo, GA, died Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Farmer was born December 13, 1937, in Cloudland, GA, son of the late Gordon Sam Farmer and Mittie Key Farmer. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Mohawk Industries and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Farmer was also a hard worker and loved to farm. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John Farmer; grandson, Jesse Smith; and a brother, Pete Farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes Johnson Farmer; sons, Frank (Carrie) Farmer, Matthew Farmer; daughter, Anita (Houston) Smith; brother, Billy Farmer; sister, Frances Hegwood; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
