Doug was born in Waterbury on August 19, 1950, son of the late Douglas A. and Mary (McKenna) Buell. Raised in Waterbury he attended local schools and was a graduate of Crosby High School, class of 1968. He served in the Army National Guard.
In addition to his wife Carol, Doug is survived by one son, Anthony J.
