Raymond Douglas Gentry (Doug) July 6th, 1947-August 4th, 2022. “Dougo” (as he was fondly known as by his friends and family); grew up in Georgia with 6 brothers and 4 sisters and family was always so important to him.
Dougo will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all the residents/caretakers at the Cherokee County Rehab Center. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Raymond, and Elizabeth Cochran Gentry; his brothers Dick, J.B., J.R, Donald, Larry, and Charles Gentry; his sisters, Mary Nell Tinin; brother-in-law, Pete Basham, his niece, Kathy Basham, Doris, Beverly, and his nephew Eddie. Left to cherish his memories are his sisters Dorothy Basham, Diane Dotson, Elaine Webb (Calvin Webb) and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
