Mr. Donnell Walden, age 83, passed on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Hospice of Wake Count, Raleigh, NC
Mr. Donnell was local cab driver for over 53 years and worked for the University of North Carolina for over 22 years. He had a Servants Heart and served his community until his death. He joined First Baptist Church over 50 years ago and served as Trustee and Head Usher. He was a member of the Farrington #347 Masonic Lodge (Enterprise).
He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Miss. Princess M. Walden of High Point, NC; stepchildren, Roger Kinaid (Gail) of Morganton, NC, Jessie Kinaid Yaut (Oscar) of Lenoir, NC, Rosetta Kinaid Riggsbee (Bobby) of Newport News, VA, and Scottie Kinaid (Larie) of hillsborough, NC; two favorite sons-in-law, Nabe Davis of Chapel Hill, NC, Bobby Riggsbee of Chapel Hill, NC; three brothers, Levi Walden (Etta) waterbury, Conn., Pernel Walden of Raleigh, NC and Charles Walden, of Apex, NC; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, grands, great grands, cousins, and friends.
