Dickey R. Morgan, 74, of Tallahassee, passed away October 8, 2016. A son of Henry Morgan and Kelsie Belcher Souther, of blessed memory, he was born July 24, 1942, in Harlan, Kentucky. Also preceding him in death is a sister, Yvonne. He served his country in the US Air Force, and later retired from the Florida Highway Patrol after 23 years of service. He enjoyed boating and fishing, collecting firearms and making knives. He also owned and operated the Dairy Queen. He is survived by his children, Greg Morgan and Sandra Morgan; grandchildren, Casey Morgan and Karissa Morgan; and former spouse and mother of his children, Helen Morgan.
