Mr. Ash was born July 21, 1936, in Fort Payne, AL, son of the late Taylor Leonard and Willie Mae Wofford Ash.
Survivors include a son, Scott Ash; daughters, Belinda Rinden and Rhonda (Frank) Battle; a brother, Billy Wayne Ash; sisters, Bobbie Henry and Rebecca Price; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
