Shortly after graduation, Darryl was employed with Chevrolet Bus and Truck Plant in Indianapolis, IN for 23 years where he became a skilled tradesman as a certified journeyman electrician. He also worked at North American Lighting in Paris, IL for 9 years and the Chrysler Transmission Plant in Kokomo, IN until his demise.
Darryl was united in Holy Matrimony to Janet Elaine Williamson and to this union three children were born. Upon their divorce, he later married Cheryl Chambers and to this union one child was born.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Evang. Marva E. Bledsoe of Centralia, IL; a loving life partner, Jovanna (JV) Hogan, three sons, Darryl T. (Tamika) Bledsoe of Indianapolis, IN, Jr., Derrick (Stacey) Bledsoe of Atlanta, GA, and Denzel Bledsoe of Indianapolis, IN; one daughter, Tracie (Curtis) Martin of Avon, IN; three sisters, Cynthia E. Shovan, Robin L. Bledsoe of Indianapolis, IN, and Min. Michelle P. Jones of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren: Blake Boyd, Mallory Harris, Curtis Martin, Jr. and Cedric Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
