Danny Willie B. Pearson, Sr., known to many as “DP” was born in Columbia, South Carolina on March 27, 1943 to the late Mr. Robert Pearson, Sr. and Mrs. Willie Mae Griffin Pearson. Danny was called to eternal rest to be with the Lord on March 13, 2016 at the Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina.
Danny leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife, Jeanette Pearson; three sons, Danny (Nicole) Pearson, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Torrie l. Pearson and D’Anta S. Pearson both of Columbia, SC; three daughters, Sharlene Chavis Slater, Lynn (Chris) Land, and Ja’Shania I. Pearson all of Columbia, SC; four sisters-in-law, Frances H. Pearson of Camden, SC, Barbara (Robert) Gainey of Delaware, Teresa (John) Johnson of Swansee, SC and Dian Hogan of Columbia, SC; one brother-in-law, Walter Griffin of Columbia, SC; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends all of whom will miss him dearly
