Daniel R. Bennett, age 60, passed away at home on Thursday June 17, 2010. Born on October 8, 1949, a lifelong resident of Milford, Dan was the son of the late Albert F. Bennett and Irene Piekutowski Bennett and was employed by Stop & Shop on Bridgeport Avenue in Milford.
Dan leaves behind his sisters, Deborah Williams and her husband Thomas and Doreen Bennett and her husband Frank Bredice all of Milford. In addition, he is also survived by niece Jennifer Williams of Meriden, nephews Thomas Williams, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA and Edward B. Williams of Milford. A voracious reader, about the only thing that would make Dan put down a book mid chapter was a chance to cheer on his beloved New York Yankees.
