Clyde Lewis Sutton was born February 17th, 1944 and was married to Arline Headen for over 48 years.  Clyde retired from Charles Craft after 35 years and continued to work for Sister 2 Sister as well as Shop and Bank for 11 years.  Clyde was a member of the church of God as well as a co-founder along with first pastor Nathaniel Blackmon.

Clyde was recognized for so many awards such as NAACP Humanitarian Award, most faithful award and has appeared in several newspaper articles with so many stories untold, the hurt, the burden of losing a son and a nephew.  Clyde gained his wings and crown and has entered his heavenly home while awaiting the rest to join him. Your wisdom and words will never be forgotten.

Clyde was preceded in death by his father, Talbert Headen Sr., mother Virginia Sutton Headen; son Clyde Headen Jr.; brothers, Talbert Headen Jr., Jerry Headen, Leander Sutton and Joe L. Sutton; sisters, Gladys Brooks and Josephine Glover, and Emma Craven.

Clyde leaves behind wife Arline M. Headen; three sons, Teddy Martin (Brenda), Thomas Headen (Shalon), and Terrence Headen (Hillary); four sisters, Louise, Beaulah, Hazel, and Mattie; four brothers, L.T., Grady, Michael and Jimmy. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
