REMEMBERING MR. CHRISTOPHER REESE

Mr. Christopher Eugene Reese affectionately known as “Boo” or “Booski Love” was born on November 16, 1973 in Newberry, SC to the late Hollis Eugene Reese and the late Patricia Ann Williams Reese. He entered into eternal rest at Lexington Medical Center on May 10, 2023.

He was educated in the school district of Lexington-Richland Counties and graduated from Irmo High School. He spent his career in retail sales as well as in the grocery and restaurant industries.

He was great cook and could barbeque well. One of his favorite foods was spaghetti, and he would eat it at any chance he could get. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys–win or lose, he didn’t care because he loved them anyway and would always represent his team. Boo loved children, especially his grandchildren, as well as the honorary nieces and nephews that he would babysit and spend time with often.
He had an infectious smile and laugh. He would light up the room as soon as he entered. He had a heart of gold and considered no one a stranger.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Cedell Reese; grandparents Gussie Lee Williams, Marjorie Patterson Williams, Cedell Reese and Fannie Mae Reese; aunts Ora Mae (Ulysses) Cannon and Linda Williams; uncles Funcy Williams and Larry Williams; and a true friend that he considered a brother Javis Mayers.

Those who will continue to honor his legacy include his son Christopher Williams-Reese of San Antonio, TX; daughter Alexis Reese of Clinton, SC; grandchildren Ke’Mira Reeder and Kayson Reeder of Clinton, SC, Layuni Williams of San Antonio, TX; sister Charlene Williams of Columbia, SC; brother Vincent Fletcher of Columbia, SC; uncles Walter Williams of Chapin, SC, Andy Williams of Irmo, SC, and Calvin Reese of Virginia; aunts Carrie Lormeus of Chapin, SC, Mary Adams, Francis Hendrix and Annie Dozier of Batesburg, SC, Willie Lee Houseal of Little Mountain, SC; and a host of relatives and close friends that he considered as family.
