Charlie Wayne Roughton of Stillwaters in Dadeville, Alabama passed away on Saturday December 24, 2016.
Mr. Roughton is survived by his wife of 56 years Judith Henderson Roughton, son Tommy, daughter-in-law Karla, and granddaughter Anna Charles of Auburn, AL, sister Betty Joyce Cannon (Ocie) of Cusseta, AL, brother Ronald Michael (Wati) of Dadeville, AL and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Roughton was preceded in death by his parents William Burl and Lois Eiland Roughton, three brothers William Emory, James Monte and Tony Burl Roughton and one sister Cynthia Jo Ellis.
Mr. Roughton was born January 26, 1939 in Cusseta, AL. and lived in Valley, AL. before moving to Lake Martin in 1996, where he enjoyed the beautiful Lake Martin & golf. He graduated from Valley High School in 1959, and received a BS degree from Auburn University. He was a member of the Alabama National Guard for 13 years. He retired after 47 years from West Point Stevens as Industrial Relations Director. Mr.
