In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Christine Woods Burke; son, Ron Burke; step-daughter, Susan Parish; step-son, Earl Croft; sisters, Wilma Burke Lively and Daisy Burke Ellenburg.
Survivors include his wife, Gaynell Croft Burke; daughters, Sandy Burke Brickley, Teresa Burke Humphrey; step-sons, Noal Croft, Darrell Croft; daughter-in-law, Donna Burke; grandchildren, Heather Burke, Jeremy Burke, Jessica Burke Nadu, Richie Humphrey; step-grandchildren, Tanya Jones, Jaycen Croft, Justin Parish, Tabitha Croft, Gayla Dempsey, and Crystal Peek; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
