Charles Frank (Charlie) Moore died in his home in Tallahassee, FL, on Thursday, June 14, 2018, from an apparent heart attack. He was 60. Charlie was a member of the pioneer Moore family of Leon County, born on February 1, 1958, to Bill and Maxie Moore. He graduated from Godby High School and worked many years for Sing Oil, Tri-Eagle, and then later for Rainey-Cawthon Distributors. Charlie will be remembered as a laid-back, easy-going guy who would give you the shirt off his back. He would do anything for anybody and was a friend to all. No one ever saw him mad unless the Seminoles were losing. Charlie is survived by his two sons, Michael and Cody, his daughter Sage, his sister Susan Moore Coopman, nephews Tom and John Coopman and niece Julie Coopman Rolfes (Nick), and a host of cousins and friends. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Michael. Charlie will be buried in the Moore Family Cemetery.
