Charles Francis Goodson, 79, of Quincy, Florida, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020. A son of the late Coleman Mayo Goodson and the late Mary Frances Cox Goodson, he was born in Quincy, Florida on March 1, 1941.
He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Glenn Coleman Goodson and Gary Lloyd Goodson. Following his service in the US Navy, he went to work for United Parcel Service as a semi-truck driver. He had a successful 32 year career, where he logged over a million miles and was accident free. Known as “Handyman” to friends and family, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and tinkering as a mechanic.
He, along with his wife, was a member of Glen Julia United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary G. Jones Goodson; children, Jesse Goodson (wife, Melanie), Christina Blackmer (husband, Jeff), David Fiaccato (wife, Karen), Patty McLendon (husband, Randall), Pam Revels and Regina Ann Fulghum (husband, David); thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas Kent Coleman; as well as several nieces and nephews.
