Mr. Cecil “Pete” Woodall, age 90, of Lanett, AL passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 at his daughter’s residence.
Mr. Woodall is survived by his two daughters, Christie Taylor (Thomas L.) Craven and Dorothy (Scotty) Smith; his three sons, Jeff (Kelley) Taylor, Tim Taylor, and Rodney Taylor; his fifteen grandchildren, Justin Craven, Gracie Craven, Hunter Craven, B.J. Smith, Ashley Nicole Smith, Casey Scott Smith, Kelsey Taylor, Alicia Taylor, Sydney Taylor, Lauren Alexandria Taylor, Lane Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Brianna Stephens, Cassidy Taylor, and Ryan Taylor; a host of great grandchildren; special nephews, Larry (Audrey) Butler and Jimmy (Billie Jean) Bartlett; special grandnephew, Adam Bartlett; special grandniece, Lori Harrell; many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Willie Mae Taylor; his son. Bobby Taylor; his sisters, Florence Butler and Sarah Sanders.
Mr. Woodall was born on August 7, 1926 in Fredonia, AL. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II. He was a painter for 50 plus years and loved fishing.
