Carl Hollis, 92, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Seven Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center. A son of the late Emil Halarevici and Mary Gettel Halarevici, he was born in Montreal, Canada on November 1, 1928.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather K. Morrell (husband, Patrick); grandsons, Gavin Davis, Declan Morrell and Maddox Morrell; sister, Shirley Dunning; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In his early years, he was a Merchant Marine, having traveled to many parts of the world.
He worked for many years in industrial refrigeration and enjoyed being an inventor, tinkerer and creator. In his later years, he worked for Engineering and Equipment Co.
