Mr. C. L. Bentley, age 72, of Gaylesville, AL, died Sunday, May 17, 2020, at his residence.
Mr. Bentley was born May 25, 1947, in Jamestown, AL, son of the late Clarence and Vera Ray Bentley. Prior to his retirement, he was employed in the logging and the construction industries. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bentley was preceded in death by brothers, Wayne Bentley, Jackie Bentley, and Leon Bentley.
Mr. Bentley is survived by his wife, Barbara Jane Speer Bentley; sons, Terry (Brenda) Bentley, Jeffrey (Michelle) Bentley, Billy (Tania) Bentley; a daughter, Rose Anna Bentley; brothers, Johnny Bentley, Ricky (Sandra) Bentley; sisters, Barbara (Jerry) Young, Sarah Smith, Martha (Raymond) Matthews, Betty Bentley, and Vicky Bentley; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
