Bobby O. Callaway was born to Aaron Reaves Callaway, Sr. and Martha (Mattye) Spence Callaway in Leon County, Florida. He graduated from Leon High School in 1955 and married Mary Laverne Clark on December 15, 1962.
He retired after 30 years of service with the Florida Department of Transportation. Bobby had four children, Christopher Orion, Bruce Clark, Gregory Spence and Katherine (Kay) Lois Bartlett.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Aaron, Miletus, Edward and Eula; his son, Chris; and a son-in-law, Sam Bartlett. Bobby is also survived by his grandchildren, Asa Callaway, Mattye Callaway, Jordan Bartlett, Haley Bartlett and Wyatt Bartlett; sister-in-law, Faye McCoy Callaway; brother-in-law, Ronnie Manning (Debbie); nieces and nephews and their children, as well as many other extended family.
