Mr. Young was born January 21, 1939, in Berryton, GA, son of the late Samuel “Sam” Young and Dossie Parker Young.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Rachel Young McNair, Herman Collins Young, Luther Aubrey Young, and Harold Edward Young.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Teague Young; daughter, Sheila Young Mount; son Billy Michael Young; brother, John Kelly Young; grandchildren, Crystal Weaver, Sharon Weaver, Dakota Young (Nikki Crabtree), and Destinee Young (Tyler Bell); and a great-grandchild, Hayzlee Bell.
