Mr. Arthur J. Norton, age 65, a resident of Orange, passed away on September 7th, 2010 at his home after a long illness. Son of Lillian W. Norton of Orange and the late Julius E. Norton, he was born in New Haven on August 30, 1945. Arthur graduated from Amity High School in 1964 and attended St. Leo’s College in FL for Liberal Arts.  He was a bartender at several local restaurants and worked as lounge manager of Quinnipiac Club in New Haven for many years.  Later, he started and owned his own business Spice Wagon. Arthur retired after a few years due to poor health.  He was a very kind and generous person and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son Arthur Norton Jr. formally of Branford, brother David M. Norton and his wife Sallyanne of Orange, his sister Laurie Norton Luce and her husband Matt of Woodbridge, and was a devoted uncle to his nephew Matthew Luce and niece Julie Luce of Woodbridge and nephew David Norton Jr. of Orange. He is also survived by several cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Kathy A. Norton.
