Mr. Allan Cranley, affectionally known as “Big Al” of Tallahassee, died January 16, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Cranley was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 26, 1948, to Edward and Lois Vozenilek Cranley. After his education which included some college, he joined the Army and served in Viet Nam.
He then went on to become a drafting engineer. He moved to Tallahassee in 1983, and worked as an exterminator for Paul’s Pest Control. Mr. Cranley was a member of Emerge Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, landscaping, football and cats. He was a sweet man who always made people feel at ease. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather. He was predeceased by his parents and a son, Billy Stone. Left to cherish sweet memories are his wife, Kay Cranley; son, Ben Stone; daughter, Kate Bearden (James); granddaughters, Hanna Bearden, Brieanna Stone, Alyssa Stone, Kara Stone, Hope Cox and Jordan Rousseau; grandsons, Matthew Bartels, Kyler Stone-Bearden and Cameron Cox; and great-grands, Aiden Bartels and Harper Clark.
