Mr. Alfred P. Secondi, age 92, of New York City, beloved wife of Ulla-Berit Carlson Secondi, died on Friday April 30, 2010 at DeWitt Nursing Home in N.Y.C.
Son of the late Romeo and Laura Baudassi Secondi, Alfred was born on April 1, 1918 in New York City. Alfred served with pride and honor as a Sgt. in the US Army during WWII. He was an aviation engineer from 1942-46 touring in North Africa and Italy during the war. Alfred retired from the N.Y.C. Board of Education as an Elementary School teacher in 1983. He had a love of trees, Cathedrals, songs and baseball.
Mr. Secondi was predeceased by four brothers and a sister, William, Albert, Joseph and Peter Secondi, and Theresa Ferraro; brother and sisters-in law Fred, Marianne Siv and Gunnel. Besides his wife, survivors include his sister-in-law, Annette, and brother-in-law, Arne and 14 nieces and nephews. Alfred will be sadly missed by many close friends.
