Mr. Alfred J. Kendzierski, age 79, of Spring Hill, Fl, formerly of Orange, beloved husband of 55 years to Arlene Sherman Kendzierski, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2010.
Born in Ansonia, January 30, 1931, son of the late Walter and Helen Orzechowski Kendzierski. Alfred was honorably discharged after proudly serving four years in the U.S. Navy. He was active in both Orange Little League and Southern CT Youth Hockey. Alfred retired from Pitney Bowes after 25 years as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. After taking an early retirement, he and his wife relocated from Orange to Palm Beach Gardens, Fl and Spring Hill, Fl, where he currently resided.
In addition to loving wife , survivors include son James A. Kendzierski of Ohio, daughter Cathryn M. Worroll and her husband Ted , daughter-in-law Christine Kendzierski all of Milford. Alfred also leaves three grandchildren Brandon Robert and his fiancée Marissa, Joseph Gordon and Caitlyn Rose Kendzierski, a great-grandson Hunter Joseph Kendzierski and his canine granddaughter “StellaGrace”Worroll, two sisters Wanda Bilsky, and Adele Strumello and several nieces and nephews. Alfred is predeceased by his son Gary Joseph Kendzierski, a brother Stanley Kendzierski and his beloved English Bulldog “Mollie”.
