Alceo “Archie” Primavera, age 84, beloved husband to the late Shirley Primavera passed away on March 15, 2012 in Nashville, TN after a brief illness. Born on June 8, 1927 in Stratford, he was the son of the late Basilio and Venusta Primavera. Archie served with pride and honor in the United States Army during WWII in Germany.
Archie was a long time resident of Milford and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers NO 478, Lions Club, VFW of Milford, and Elks Club. He was an active and productive member in the Milford community before moving to Florida in 1990. Archie has maintained many connections in the community and will be missed by many.
Archie is survived by son Robert an wife Patricia Primavera of Nashville, TN, grandson Christopher and wife Laura Primavera, great-granddaughter Vanessa Eve Primavera, granddaughter Melissa Primavera, sister Pauline Englehardt of Vero Beach, FL and several nieces and nephews.
