Moses ‘Moy’ Gonzalez, 35 yrs old, went home to be with the Lord Sunday August 25, 2019. He was a native of Harlingen born July 28, 1984, attended Harlingen public school and graduated from Harlingen High School-South. He was passionate for the arts, and was a very talented artist and loved painting portraits and landscapes. He sold some of his artwork downtown at the Harlingen Art Night event that is held every last Friday of the month. He was well known in the art community. Moises especially enjoyed spending time with his children playing video games and taking them for outings at the beach.He leaves to cherish his wonderful memory his daughter, Ivy Rose Gonzalez, step sons, Marcos Jimenez, Derek Jimenez, his parents, Elias and Sylvia Gonzalez, sisters, Christina Gonzalez (Jose Cruz) nieces, Hailia Gonzalez and Orchid Maye Cruz, Virginia Barcenas (Miguel), niece, Leia Barcenas, nephew, Malachi Gonzalez, paternal grandmother, Felipa Gonzalez, He is also survived by numerous aunt, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
