Mortimer McBroom Wood, 86, of Cumming, GA and originally of Birmingham, Alabama went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, February 10, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tillman and Kate Wood, Sr. He was fondly called Mackie by his family and friends. Mortimer grew up in Birmingham, AL and graduated from Phillips High School and Auburn University. He served in the US Navy during WWII before moving to the Atlanta, GA area in the mid 60 s.
