Morris “Buckwheat” Lathen Lee, age 63, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on June 15, 2021.
Buckwheat, as all knew him, was born the son of the late Morris Edwin Lee and the late Essie Mae Hooper Lee on July 4, 1957. Buckwheat loved his family, and always did his best to help anyone that he could. He loved animals, especially his dog Cole, who was always by his side. He loved to fish, garden, four wheeling and always loved being outside. He was a kind and caring person, who always put others before his self. He loved people, and always was happiest when surrounded by his friends and family. He never failed to have a smile and warm hug for those he loved.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Eller; his two sisters, Anita Armstrong and Leila “Bird” Littrell.
His survivors include his two brothers, Cresley Pollard, of Clayton and David Lee, of Clayton; his sister, Dolores Crane (Fred), of Clayton; his brother-in-laws, Don Armstrong, of California and Tony Littrell, of Clayton; his uncle and aunt, Glenville and Linda Nichols; a number of cousins, nephews and nieces also survive.
