He was a devoted family man, and is survived by his loving wife, Alvarine B. Nunley; three children, Diane Johnson and husband Sam (Toby) of Montgomery, AL, Trena Pierce and husband Ron of Cullman, AL, Danny Nunley and wife Judy of Hazel Green, AL; sister’s Reba Neaves of Huntsville, AL, Geneva Underwood of Decatur, AL, and Janet Carter of Huntsville, AL, and brother Dewey Nunley of Hazel Green, AL; six grandchildren, Tina Smith of Montgomery, AL, Ryan Pierce of Huntsville, AL, Matt Nunley of Huntsville, AL, Heather Gudger of Cullman, AL, Chris Nunley of Hazel Green , AL, and Brandi Gardner of Hazel Green, AL; and six great-grandchildren.
