Monnie Marie (Bennett) Myers, 90, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away December 15, 2017. She was born on July 28, 1927 in Florence, Alabama to James Henry and Sarah Bertha (Rose) Bennett. She was the youngest of 11 siblings and the baby of the family.
Marie married James C. Myers Sr. on August 9, 1947 and remained so until his death 31 and a half years later.
She was preceded in death by her husband James C. Myers Sr., parents James Henry Bennett and Sarah Bertha Bennett, and all ten of her siblings except one.
She is survived by her children Paulette (David) Owen and James C. (Linda) Myers Jr.; grandchildren Teresa Brown, Ryan Owen, Jaime Owen, and Casey Owen; great-grandchildren Amber Marie, Shea, Billy Jr., Gabriel, Jayden, and one on the way Noel; great-great-granddaughter Brooklyn; sister Mattie; and 24 nieces and nephews.
