Heaven received a special angel when they received you on November 8, 2022 at 1:00. Monique was 58 years old when she passed away peacefully at her home from Cancer. Her daughter and friends were at her side. She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother.
Monique led a full and beautiful life. Born in Santa Maria, California, but moving around her whole life, she finally settled in Camp Verde, Arizona. It was in Camp Verde that she got to blossom in her passion for food. She opened “Monique’s Sandwich Shop” on Hollomon Street.
She had a laugh that would infect the whole room and a personality you couldn’t resist. She loved everybody and never judged a soul.
As the years progressed Monique slowed down. She found her best 4-legged friend Jake. They have spent many hours and days along the river banks and in caves collecting beautiful rocks and crystals.
They never each other’s side.
Monique was very cherished and loved by many.
