Monika Jolliff, 69, of Centralia, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Kindred Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born November 27, 1950 in Pfaffenhofen, Germany, the daughter of Walter Durst and Hedwig (Sommer) Durst.

She married Mark Jolliff, had five children and later divorced. She is survived by her five children: Becky Jolliff and fiancé Larry Wilson of Centralia, Stacy Mays and husband Rod of Centralia, Mark Jolliff of Centralia, Jenia Jolliff of Centralia and Jeffrey Jolliff of Centralia; seven grandchildren: Jake, Kelly, Reed, Brooke, Riley, Faith and Hope; a brother: Eberhard Durst and wife Marga of Germany; a sister: Ilona Lang and husband Gustav of Germany; several nieces and nephews: Stephan, Philip, Thomas, Sonja, Katrina, and Savannah; several great-nieces and nephews. Monika was preceded in death by her parents, a special aunt: Tante Gerda Durst, sister-in-law: Joyce, and father and mother-in-law: Bert and Barb Robison.

Monika was of the Lutheran Faith. She worked as a CNA at Friendship House and later retired. She enjoyed working as a caregiver and making sure everyone was taken care of before herself.

Monika loved spending time with her grandchildren, family gatherings and being outdoors with her dogs.
