Molly Kathryn (Hebert) Shukla, 29, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022, at home. Molly was born March 26, 1993, in Des Moines, Iowa, to David and Mary (O’Hara) Hebert. She graduated from Ankeny High School in 2011, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa, and received a Masters Degree from Columbia University in New York. We are proud to say that she graduated in one year with a 4.0 from the Ivy League School.
Molly worked as a Licensed Masters Social Worker for Ankeny Family Counseling. She was loved, respected, and very connected to her clients. She made life real for them.
Molly is survived by her husband, Ravi Shukla, parents, Mary and Dave Hebert, brother, Grant (Tia) Hebert, all of Ankeny, IA; her grandmother, Mary Ann Hebert-Baldwin of Charles City, IA, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edmer J. Hebert and John and Kathryn O’Hara.
The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday with a Rosary recited at 5 p.m. at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Church. Molly will be remembered for being a loving, caring person, always thinking of others and going out of her way to make the people she cared for feel special and loved.
